Announcing Awoo

Awoo has existed for about five years now — something I built for myself and a few friends. I’d take a screenshot, paste a URL, done. Search for a file I uploaded two years ago and find it. Share something with a friend and it’d just show up in their files. No hoops, no upsells, no thinking about it.

And now it’s finally time to start sharing it with everyone else.

So.. What is awoo?

Cloud storage. It’s cloud storage. Upload anything, easily create a shareable link, and find things quickly thanks to Scout.

Ah, yeah. Scout.

First and foremost: it’s AI. No, you can’t talk to it. Scout indexes your files, creates tags and descriptions, and makes everything searchable in plain English. That reference image with the garbage filename from three years ago? Scout finds it. It’s opt-in, runs in the background, and stays out of your way. Files + AI, not AI + files.

What’s the plan?

Well, It’s early. Not everything works perfectly yet, but it’s a good start. The first priorities will be to get all the platforms ready and improving Scout. Then, Who knows? You tell us? Go on, give it a try for free. No need to give us your card either.
